About US

My name is Angie Kern and I love to work on my scrapbooks.  Working full-time as an ultrasound tech, caring for my two young children, and trying to be a good wife to my husband does not leave much time for scrappin’.  I believe that women today are so busy caring for others that they have little time for taking care of themselves. 

The Creative Hideaway was opened to offer a place for busy people like me to come ESCAPE their busy lives, RELAX without chores, and to ENJOY being pampered themselves for a change.  The 6000 square foot facility offers spacious accommodations with bounds of  workspace.  We are not just here for "scrappers", but we are here for all sorts of crafts and hobbies that women love to do.  Jewelry, quilting, and stamping are just a few examples and we have enough space for everyone! 

It is my hope that every guest of The Creative Hideaway will leave behind the hustle and bustle of their everyday lives for a weekend of relaxation and fun!
